Andrew Bird - Eyeoneye

A couple weeks ago, I asked if anyone had heard the new Andrew Bird album and how it was, and no one really answered. Ha.

Stupid me.

Of course, it’s frickin awesome.

This album, Break It Yourself, is pretty much everything that made you love Bird in the first place; crazy strings, experimentation, whistling, that voice, and a plethora of instruments. Smooth, thoughtful and mellow.

Genius? Always.

Common Prayer - Us vs. Them

Do you like indie folk, or do you just like good music for that matter? I do, and I think this is good music. Lol. And, well, I really like this song, and I guess this band.  :p

I’m also a huge fan of whistling in songs, can’t help it I just am.

I am a big fan of whistling in songs(when done right) and this song opens up with some chipper instrumentation and whistling and just keeps getting better.
