The Shins - For a Fool
This is kind of an album review too,..whatver. I’ve been listening to Port of Morrow(the new Shins album, ha) off and on with a few other newish albums for the last week or so, and this album seems to be hogging a lot of the airwaves. Is that really so surprising though?
Not really.
James Mercer and co. deliver again. Of course there’s the abvious favorites(September, For a Fool, and Simple Song), but really the album is just crazy solid. Excellent buy.
Yep, you can stream the new album, Port of Morrow, in it’s entirety right now, right HERE! The new album hits stores, March 20th. Whoot!
The Shins - Bait and Switch (Official Video)
The latest offering from James Mercer and Co. I think I m ight be posting this strictly out of my love for The Shins though. Probably my least favorite off the new album so far. I’m not saying it’s terrible or anything, really I don’t know if I have heard a terrible Shins song. Ever. It might just need a few more listens.
