Amazing. Memoryhouse(one of my favorite bands right now) + The Police (Huge fan of them as well) = major win.

Peter Broderick - Everything I know
peter Broderick is a multi instrumentalist and composer that not only performs solo but plays with a lot of other really good musicians/bands ( She & Him, Horse and Feathers, Delorean and is also a member of the indie band Efterklang).
Anyways, I think you’ll like this song.

To be honest, when I heard this the other day, I didn’t like it, but I absolutely love pretty much all of the Gorillaz music videos, and after a few more listens this is kinda nice, and it dooooes feature Andre 3000(and James Murphy).

You might have have seen a bit of this on Soup Bowl Sunday, maybe not, either way…. watch the whole thing. This is pretty amazing, and if you listen to it without watching it, it’s even crazier. You’d never guess this is how all these sounds were being made.
“The new music video from OK Go, made in partnership with Chevrolet. OK Go set up over 1000 instruments over two miles of desert outside Los Angeles. A Chevy Sonic was outfitted with retractable pneumatic arms designed to play the instruments, and the band recorded this version of Needing/Getting, singing as they played the instrument array with the car. The video took 4 months of preparation and 4 days of shooting and recording. There are no ringers or stand-ins; Damian took stunt driving lessons. Each piano had the lowest octaves tuned to the same note so that they’d play the right note no matter where they were struck. River Whyless - Stone
With the first listen of River Whyless, all these thoughts came rushing to my mind(that alone is always a good sign), thoughts and memories,….and then after a while just,… Wow! These guys have a great fucking sound!
Beautiful male and female vocals, and an amazing combination of instrumentation(Bells, Guitar, Harp, banjo, Violin, Cello, Ukulele, Viola).
Give this band a listen, it’s definitely worth your time, and you’ll feel cool “knowing about them before they blow up and become superrrr popular”. ;)
