Syron - Here
This is slightly more poppy than stuff I usually post or listen to, but I’m kinda liking it. Labeled by MTV as “One to watch”, whatever the F%*# that means. Haha Check her out HERE, and give here a listen. Lemme know what you think.

Iron & Wine - Lovers Revolution
New iron and Wine?! Yes, Please!
With a new album, Ghost on Ghost, on the way ( 4/16/13), Sam beam and co release the single Lovers Revolution.
What a title.
The track has a slightly different vibe, almost jazzy, with a hint of anger in Sam’s voice. Different. Different, but still holding all the same old amazingness we’ve come to expect from Iron and Wine.
Enjoy.

Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros - Mother
Happy Mothers Day to all the moms out there!
If you haven’t heard this song, or heard about the album from which it came, you should check it out. The song is a part of a collaboration album, featuring acts like Eddie Vedder, Beck , Bono, David Bowie, Faith Hill, Lauryn Hill, and a lot of other artists. The album is put out by Every Mother Counts, an organization dedicated to increasing education and support around the issue of maternal mortality.
Please check out the organizations website, and reblog this.
Once again, Happy Mothers Day Moms! :p
The Temper Trap - Trembling Hands
From the new self titled album, due out June 5th.
Brilliant, just like everything else they put out.
Animal Collective - Honeycomb
Well, it seems like it’s been a minute since Animal Colelctive was on my radar, and that’s kinda sad,……….. buttttt happy, happy! They’re back where they belong, making amazingness like this!
Just after a few listens, I can tell this will probably end up as one of my all time favorites. Love it. Summery. Fresh, with some kind of crazy Afrikan sound going on. Did I mention that I loved it?
Animal Collective are back with a new 7inch single titled ‘Honeycomb / Gotham’ featuring two brand new songs.
The ‘Honeycomb / Gotham’ physical 7inch is available to pre-order now on the Domino Store with instant MP3 gratification of both tracks. Pre-order at http://www.dominorecordco.com/honeycomb.
The Barr Brothers - Beggar In The Morning(Live On Letterman)
I actually prefer the official video for this song, but I’m posting the live one above so that you can see some of the crazy use of instruments,….and feck, do I love harmonica. :)
Oh, and they have a harp in the band. How cool is that?
“She said, hello I’m a monster too, and
what poisons me, is what poisons you…
Into these animals we grew, well
when we were young, our eyes were blue….”
Mp3: The Barr Brothers - Beggar In The Morning
So, so good.
I still can not get enough of this song.

Wreckless Eric - Whole Wide World
The very first time I saw this movie(which is great by the way) and heard this song, I actually took out my cell phone and made a note : Download the song off of Stranger Than Fiction, Fucking Awesome. I was a little drunk, but damn. I still love it.
Beach House -Equal Mind
This was taken from the B- side of the 7” split released on Record Store Day, and supposedly will NOT be on the new album, Bloom (due out 5/15). Knowing they are leaving songs as quality as this off the new album, makes me all the more excited to hear it. Also, I really like how they seem to be sticking to a winning formula instead of overly experimenting.

Fanfarlo - A Flood
Hey, did you know the new Fanfarlo album was out? I kinda forgot this was coming out and then got it yesterday, and have given it at least 4 or 5 plays since then.
The track, A Flood, is by far my favorite, but I can tell this whole album, Rooms Filled With Light, will be getting a lot of play over the summer. Filled with lush, loud instrumentation, and vocals slightly reminiscent of Beirut’s Zach Condon, Fanfarlo openly soars back with a truly beautiful album.
:p
The Shins - The Rifles Spiral (Official Video)
This is one of said videos that I love,…the animation reminds me of that movie Coraline, have you seen that? It’s crazy and a little creepy for a cartoon, but in a good way.
….and of course there is the Shins, and that new album, and this song, and yeah. Awesomeness.
Enjoy.
