I’m not sure how i feel about this. I am not a Katy Perry fan. I think if i was watching her live(for some crazy reason) and she started singing this, i would be happy because it would be like the only good song of her set. haha
In all fairness though, she does do a decent job covering this song.

MGMT - It’s Working (Air Remix)
I like it. I’m a big fan of both Air and MGMT and this is a beautiful marriage of sound.
Enjoy.
MGMT - Anything Could Happen(The Clean cover)
MGMT doesn’t sound bad acoustic, and this is a good song. I would like to see an unplugged session.

Lissie - Pursuit of happiness (kid Cudi cover)
I’m not a huge rap fan. I did however like Kid Cudi’s Man on the Moon album though, and one of my favorite tracks was pursuit of Hapiness(feat. Ratatat and MGMT), parts of it gave me chills. This is one of the better cover songs i’ve heard lately.
Lissies about me/story on her myspace page is pretty cool too. Check into it if you have time and give some support.
I would say these guys were basically a poor mans MGMT, buuuut they’ve been playing together for about the same amount of time,…and to be honest i can’t believe i hadn’t heard of them til today.
Heavy on synths, and a psychedelic sound and look make them an easy, catchy. toe tapping listen.
Hot Spa - Kiola Beach
Watch this Video!! Listen!
This is an unsigned band from Australia, and as far as i know this is their only song,…they have never played live, and made this video themselves consisting of family surf/beach photos.
Jump on the bandwagon before its even rollling, request their music, buy, listen, reblog, support, wtvr.
If you’re a fan of chill music, this is like a fusion of jack johnson, mgmt, yeasayer, and i don’t even know,…some other band i can’t think of at the moment. Like i said do your self a friggin favour and give it a few spins, and also give these guys some support!
MGMT - It’s Working
So, i have to admit, the first few tracks i heard off of MGMT’s latest album did not impress, and i pretty much shelved them with the label sophomore slump.(yes, i know MGMT has produced more than just two albums) Congratulations was just not living up to Oracular Spectacular; the crazy soundtrack to a crazy summer of love and rock n’ roll. So many memories were associated with that album that this new material was just kinda blah. Lately though, i’ve been giving them a second chance and am starting to dig on the new stuff a little more. This new video/single in my opinion is pretty fucking good and ranks right up there with the stuff off of OS, full of psychedelic, goofy goodness.
I eat, sleep, breathe music. This blog is a small taste of what i like.
