Is exactly what a fan would hope for. Seriously, on hearing the opening notes, the first gentle vocals trickling through your speakers, you just know. You just know this is going to be a special album.

New Bon Iver Album?
Yep, and according to an interview with Rolling Stone it will be out sometime this June. Is it sad that that is the best news I’ve had all day? Hmm… maybe.
Describing the album closer “Beth/Rest”….. “I’m the most proud of that song,” says Vernon, who is cagy on the details. “It’s definitely the part where you pick up your joint and re-light it.”
Sounds good man. Now, no more of that Kanye shit. ;)
Volcano Choir - Island, IS
In brief, and if you didn’t already know, Volcano Choir is a pretty sweet band in which Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon is featured, and this is the video of their first ever show in Tokyo.

So, i heard about the Kanye and Bon Iver(Justin Vernon) collaboration a while back and actually heard one song and pretty much thought it sucked, but this morning i heard another(in which the Bon Iver song Woods is sampled), and well,…i don’t know what to think about it. It also features Gil Scott Heron of whom i’m a fan of.

S. Carey WAS probably best known as the drummer and piano player for Justin Vernon’s project Bon Iver, however with the release of All We Grow, Careys debut album he may just rise to equal status as his bandmate.
This IS amazing music. Piano keys, black and white, tell all lyrics, and a calm, mellow voice.
