Benjamin Francis Leftwich - Ticket To Ride(Beatles Cover)
Perfect for an afternoon like this. Chill and acoustic. The Beatles are a tough band to cover(even though just about everyone and their mom attempt) but Leftwich nails it.
New song from Regina’s forthcoming album, What We Saw From The Cheap Seats. The single is available on itunes, and I guess as of right now the album doesn’t have a release date.
Quite possibly the most powerful (Christmas) song ever written.
This video is labeled on YouTube as the “Official Video”. I’m not sure about the legitamacy of that, but if it isn’t, it really should be. Take the time and watch this.
This isn’t a new song , or anything, but it IS Regina Spektor covering John Lennon!
Is that enough said?
Well, if it isn’t, it should be. ;)
P.s. The Mp3 below is actually a different, live version(which I like better) than the above. If you know what you’re doing you can dl both right? What? Wait. No, you can’t. Lawyers. Yikes.
This song, besides it obvious awesomenessishness, has a real Beatles type vibe going on, and you can really hear John’s influence in his son’s voice and style.
It takes a bit to impress me, and i’m impressed.
