Bat For Lashes - We Found Love (Rihanna Cover)
This track is as amazing as the title suggests. That is all.

CocoRosie - Gallows
New CocoRosie?! Whoot!
I don’t know if you’ve heard them or not, but you really should give them a listen if you haven’t, and if you do(give them a listen) and you don’t like them, well,…..I hate you.
Ha!
Ha.
Kidding.
But I do reallylike them, and this new song is pretty sweet imo.
That is all.

Peter Broderick - Everything I know
peter Broderick is a multi instrumentalist and composer that not only performs solo but plays with a lot of other really good musicians/bands ( She & Him, Horse and Feathers, Delorean and is also a member of the indie band Efterklang).
Anyways, I think you’ll like this song.
For fans of Andrew Bird, The Barr Brothers, The Head and the Heart, Efterklang.

Tanlines - All of Me
The second single from the new Tanlines album, Mixed Emotions (March 20th), is a light, breezey song that will fit great on many a summer playlist, or if you’re like me and you’re pretty much over winter and thinking well past spring, this really hits the spot. :)
Keep Shelly In Athens - Just Like Honey(Jesus and Mary Chain Cover)
Keep Shelly In Athens is kinda one of the “it bands” right now, and well, this track is a perfect example why.
River Whyless - Stone
With the first listen of River Whyless, all these thoughts came rushing to my mind(that alone is always a good sign), thoughts and memories,….and then after a while just,… Wow! These guys have a great fucking sound!
Beautiful male and female vocals, and an amazing combination of instrumentation(Bells, Guitar, Harp, banjo, Violin, Cello, Ukulele, Viola).
Give this band a listen, it’s definitely worth your time, and you’ll feel cool “knowing about them before they blow up and become superrrr popular”. ;)
You can buy their album for any price on Bandcamp, follow them on Facebook, or even right here on Tumblr.
Walk of the Earth - Someboy That I Used To Know(Gotye Cover)
I saw this sometime last week, and I know it’s already as Viral as the common cold, but this really is pretty damn cool.

Grimes - Oblivion
Have you heard of Grimes? I’ll be honest, I had not, until not too long ago. With an amazing voice, and unique sound that comes across like the love child of 80’s synth pop and present day indie rock dream pop.
Supposedly she has a ton of shit out already, and I’ll be checking that out soon, and also, a new album due out this March from which Oblivion is taken.
:p

Chamberlin - In the Bleak Midwinter
A traditional Christmas tune, from wayyyyyyyy back. The song, not the band, that is.
