Fanfarlo - A Flood

Hey, did you know the new Fanfarlo album was out? I kinda forgot this was coming out and then got it yesterday, and have given it at least 4 or 5 plays since then.

The track, A Flood, is by far my favorite, but I can tell this whole album, Rooms Filled With Light, will be getting a lot of play over the summer. Filled with lush, loud instrumentation, and vocals slightly reminiscent of Beirut’s Zach Condon, Fanfarlo openly soars back with a truly beautiful album.

:p

Fanfarlo - Replicate

A lively tune from the new album, Rooms Filled With Light, due out February 28th. You can get a free download over on their website.

Love the strings in this.

2012 is shaping up to be a good year in music already. Thoughts?  Are you a fan?

We’ve started recording our second album after months of playing, arranging, scrapping, re-demoing and going as far as we could with the new songs until a trip to a studio was all that remained.

Fanfarlo - Atlas(official Video)

A song from the Twilight series,..blah, whatever,….If you haven’t taken the time to further look into this band or have never heard of Fanfarlo, visit their site(s) and listen. They are an amazing newish band, and i can honestly say i haven’t heard one song from them that i dislike.

This is a cool/interesting video the band shot themselves while touring in Australia.

You can get a free Ep HERE , and download a pretty damn good song below.

Fanfarlo - We Only Come Out at Night(Smashing Pumpkins Cover)

When i first heard Fanfarlo, i liked them, but strangely i kinda just put them in the vault and never really explored their entire album. Later, thankfully, i rediscovered them and downloaded the rest of their album. Fanfarlo’s Reservoir is one of those albums that just grows on you with each listen.

It’s a damn near five star album, and their latest offering above is just as nice.
