Right Away, Great Captain - My Body Aches For You

My cousin told me about this solo side project of Andy Hull of Manchester Orchestra, and Wow! I kinda couldn’t believe I hadn’t heard this before but at the same time was very pleasantly surprised.

Apparently, the albums form a trilogy telling the tale of a 17th century sailor who catches his wife in an act of betrayal with his very own brother. Maybe he should do a collab with Colin Meloy of the Decemberists?

Colin Meloy actually sounds a lot like Stipe in this song. At the very end he says “Alright,..now some songs we do know”, as if they didn’t just nail it. Haha
