Interesting new video from Claire Boucher aka Grimes. To me it says something, maybe even makes a statement, about stereotyping and the images and labels we as humans so readily tag on to just about everyone we meet and/or see.
Then again, maybe I am reading too much into this and really Claire is just rocking out with a bunch of halk naked dudes. ;)

Jack White - Machine Gun Silhouette
Another track has leaked from the yet to be released solo album, Blunderbuss, from the great Mr. White, and yes, this one is pretty damn good too. Well, Technically it’s a B-side to the single Love Interruption, but whatever.
The single is out now, and the album is due out April 24th.

Module - I Neva Dared
This has been in my, heavily listened to, rotation for the last week or so.
Electronic and slightly funky, with some cool vocals. I listened to the whole, Remarkable Engines, album and really liked it. A lot. I think if you’re a fan of the Gorillaz you would like this a lot,…and really, if you’re just a fan of good music in general, you will appreciate this.
oh, and the kicker?…..it’s available on Bandcamp to download for whatever price you choose.
Islands - Hallways
I’m a fan of this band. I’m not a fan in that I own everything they’ve put out (I’m beginning to feel more and more like I should though), but a fan in that honestly I’ve liked everything that I’ve heard from them. This new song, Hallways, is no exception.
The new album, A Sleep & A Forgetting (also a great album title) is out February 14th. … Is that Valentines Day?
