Nylon music had this to say about Tying Tiffany, “Tying Tiffany is like the goth daughter of an Italo-disco titan–yes, her music’s electro-pop, but with a dark edge. Think Crystal Castles at their most upbeat or The Knife at their most straightforward.”
Well said.
My take? This track fucking rocks.
Seriously though, I can see Crystal Castle comparisons, sorta, but personally I think Tying Tiffany is slightly more dimensional, if that makes sense. I don’t know, I’m tired and have the flu.
