Anika - Love Buzz(Crystals Cover)
I’ll be honest, I hadn’t even heard of Anika until this morning, and I’m pretty glad I did. Anika, has a retro, sorta sound, reminiscent of Nico.

Lana Del Ray - Chelsea Hotel No. 2 ( Leonard Cohen Cover)
I’m posting this without actually listening to it because I can’t have the volume up right now, and couldn’t find my headphones, so I’m basically assuming Lana Del Ray + Leonard Cohen will = Awesomeness.
Am I right?
This reminds me of an 80’s song in all the best ways. Seriously, doesn’t the intro kinda sound like that ‘every breath you take’ song?
Mount Kimbie - Made to Stray
Floaty, new track from the new album Cold Spring Fault Less Youth, due out May 27th. I like it,…and it just gets better the louder you listen to it.
Bob Marley - Could You be Loved(TJR vs Olav Basoki Remix)
Another summery jam from the man that needs no introduction.

Air Review - Young
The sky is blue, the sun is up and bright, and the snow is melting all crazy and sparkly and this song is the perfect soundtrack.
(Yes, run on sentences are my new specialty)
Glasvegas - Stronger Than Dirt (Homosexuality Part 2.)
I watched a movie last night(For Greater Glory) about the ban of Catholocism in Mexico by the government in the early 20th century, and the main character General Enrique Gorostieta( played by Andy Garcia) leads an army in rebellion. The part that grabbed me was a conversation between Enrique and his wife where she was questioning his motives for fighting when he was in fact an atheist. The general stated ” I may be an atheist, but I believe in freedom”.
Think about it.
I am not gay, but I do believe in freedom.
The Lumineers - My City of Ruins(Bruce Springsteen Cover)
The Lumineers covering The Boss like a Boss!!! Hahaha
Seriously though.
No, really.
;)

Fol Chen - I.O.U.
Fol Chen describes their sound as Opera House, which I think is awesome and hilarious, but also doesn’t really make sense, I suppose. Sounding more like floaty, electronic music helmed by the voice of an angel. Seriously, I don’t even think I could look her in the yes while she was singing….ha.
…anyways, the new album,The False Alarms,is out now and if this track is any indicator of the quality of the rest of the album, it is a must have.
We’ll see.
